Thats why I'm glad I have a JDM. Cost me a lot less, and still turns heads. I've thought of selling it several times but whats the point in dumping another

I used to have a V*ctra and changed it last year for an ATR.

In times past if both the V*ctra and S were on the drive regardless of weather it would be the S everytime. Now when wet its a hard decision depending on mood. If I want a B road blast in the summer then of course the S wins. If its a B road blast in the wet the ATR wins. I enjoy both now. Ok hands down the S is faster and more precise in every single way however the ATR can be just as much fun!

Yes the S is still special but others can come close in a different way EVEN FWD's!!! (SHock!)

I drove mine yesterday for the first time in three weeks.

Driving the beater then getting into the S does make you realise what a great car it is. I only did 20 miles or so and was grinning all the way.

As for Gad's suggestion on getting a cheaper one; something I contemplated myself once I bought a beater (S was my only car for 6 months or so).

I just couldn't bring myself to part with it, especially when you consider I'd already taken the biggest hit and couldn't see myself saving that much in depreciation buy buying an older one.

IKWYM.

I'd used the S2000 exclusively for a few years, and was beginning to feel it was getting to the point where I needed an alternative.

The Prelude is a superb alternative (a truly great handler!) and I can reserve the S for those special drives.

Mind you, the Civic is a very pleasant drive too.

If the S alternative was a miserable POS, I'd rarely use it.

The S is truly under valued if you haven't driven it for a while.

MT sell the exhaust

Yup, and that was really all the point of this thread was, rather than another instalment in the endless procrastinations of LL and whether to change his car

As for the exhaust, you'll have to wait and see, Mike!
