Does anybody cover their S2k?
Since work seems to have taken over pretty much all of my time at the moment and i dont seem to get time to drive my S, (I use the company car during the week), I took advantage of the dealer discounts and purchase an S2k cover to protect it from the elements and pretty good it is to.
The only issue is, the instructions state that after it rains remove the cover to allow car and cover to dry!!! I bought hoping once covered I could relax knowing the car is protected from the elements, apparently not!!!

You read the instructions!?
I got one as well (blue with S2000 written on it) and I use it regularly whenever the S isn't in use (which is quite often as I have a daily drive). I was equally concerned about the paintwork fading in direct sunluight as much as the elements getting to it (I don't like the idea of New Formula Pink!).

I used to use the Honda cover but found in strong winds the bloody thing would come off so I have given up. I am thinking of a CoverCraft cover (which I've heard great things) but they are mighty expensive so will have to save a few pennies.

1. the Honda one coming off in even a moderate breeze,
2. condensation making it unsuitable for waterproofing ability requiring dry out time for both (note do NOT put it in the boot, you end up with a boot full of water under the tool box compartment bit
3. Covercraft is allegedly better.

I was disapointed when i found out it wasnt waterproof, havnt used it since although it is good when it has snowed as the car is instantly de-snowed when the cover is taken off.
Think i will use the hardtop a bit more when the frost comes to save the soft top

The other problem with covers is that before putting them on the car, the car should be cleaned so that there is no dust or dirt on the paintwork otherwise you could end up with scratched paintwork.
I will see if I can find it in the garage s2000malta but I think new they are only £40 odd quid as Honda are selling them off
