Are you sending these tyres to Yokohama UK for analysis Dixon? I'd be interested to see what they find. I don't imagine for one minute it has anything whatsoever to do with the tyre design and must be something unusual.
Were the tyres subjected to a lot of rolling road work whilst the car was being built/mapped? I believe that rolling roads can bite and chew tyres in a way that wouldn't occur on the roads, though that wouldn't explain a front going.
As has been suggested, it's much more likley the car has run over something that has cut them I reckon.

How can you go off a car as good as yours is, which, by the sounds of it, Dixon has pumped a HELL of a lot of time/effort into getting it perfect for you, over a set of blown up tyres! Accidents happen.

I'm sure Dixon was rewarded for his time and effort accordingly . Once the Sun is out, a new pair of tyres are in place and the roads are clear, life will be good, we all have those days when expectations where high and something got in the way. Tomorrows another day.

All 4 new AD08 fitted to the OEM wheels and on its way back to the owner now.
Here is the rest of the photos from the built, mainly the installation of the ICE.
Whole interior stripped ready for ICE to put in -
sound det on the inner door -
Whole door -

Now, I have found a new talent of my guys. I didn't know they are that good with Audio stuff and they came up with this idea to build a custom make Sub box so he can still use the full boot space
Ipod connector -
Completely OEM looking car getting wash and ready to go home -
The rest I will leave the owner to upload all the new photos.
