It is a hell of a price ..... you can get the same stuff from 'building' type sites for a *lot* less.

I think DIYing this mod could give great air flow. Any body know if the power could be affected or if a ECU change would be required to make the best of it
Personally, I would just get one that fits in the front arch. It has all the cold air it ever needs

I did something similar on my FTO, and it made a real noticeable difference.
I did the maths to compare the volume of air being sucked in by the engine compared to the "ram air" effect of air being forced up a forwards facing pipe at speed. And at 60mph the former was about 10 times more.
Conclusion: the benefit is mostly cold air and little to do with ram air.
