Think you can pretty much max out the caster if the car has been lowered a bit, mine was always as high as it could which was 6.45°ish

Mines not lowered and I set it to 6.00 but there was not much adjustment left, do you get more or less available adjustment when lowered ?

Getting the same +/-.15* is the main thing, going to lower 25mm at front 30mm back with Eibach springs so is not going to be out much anyway, fronts pretty much spot on at the moment, will check seized fronts while i am about it,if seized, will be left for a winter project.

Thanks gaffa for the offer

Apparently yes and people have maxed at 5s when lowered 30mm+,but +/-15 is the main point just be quicker steering.

Interesting thread. I did my rear toe once using a ruler and a breaker bar (i.e. anything straight and long enough). It ended up being lots more than I intended.

I think they're checking for the distance from the body work to the line between the wheels, which is all part of making sure the car conforms to the regulations. As everybody knows, you need to do the geo at normal ride height, which it isn't in the photo.

I had my alignment done the weekend just gone because of me polybushing the car, now the car pushes round the corners way better than before a lot more confident in it, i went for a fast road setup

I had it done at Aline who i have used before and not far from me, very good guys & price was £45 all in inc vat for full alignment

The Ferrari mechanics are just putting all the setup gear on whilst waiting for the fuel to pumped out after a fire up. They will then set the car up on the floor. It all helps to save time as the queue for the flat patch where bodywork legality is measured can be 10 cars long, each car taking 1/2 hour ish. It can make the difference from a reasonable finish time or a late night!
