Will do! Cheap windows tablet ordered, plus Bluetooth keyboard with track pad, as screen real estate will be limited! And a OTG USB adapter so I can plug it into the EMS. I've also been examining the pinout for the EMS. I reckon I'll add a proper oil pressure sensor in place of the OEM low pressure switch, take the output to the EMS, then connect the dashboard oil light to a spare output on the EMS. Then I can set a minimum pressure, under which the light will come on. Needless to say, that will be higher than the OEM setting! I could use the same light for oil temperature too. I wonder if the EMS will let me make it flash or be steady, depending on the cause...hmmm.. For AFR, Boost etc, I can set the EMS to switch the CEL on.Now I just need to teach myself the AEM Tuner software...

I'd guess so. Romain enlightened me as to the potential use of a dash light as a shift light. Not sure it would give you much better an indication than the Rev counter though, even further from your centre of vision.

Don't you just shift a few rpm before the redline?!

I like this thread. Good food for thought.

Not to go too far off topic but how did you manage to up the RPM limit, stock internals?

Mark, do you not think the racecar could use some more flashing lights?
