Are there any ways to tell whether it is an Euro import, or will I have to shell out on an HPI for piece of mind?

It's all up there in the thread if you read it carefully.

Is there actually any fundamental difference between a UK dealer supplied car, and a European sources car built to "full UK specification"?

Apart from the obvious "option" differences (e.g. no alarm on a Euro import), and the addition of a mandatory fire extinguisher on the Euro import - are there any other differences I'm not aware of?

Is it exactly the same car that I would get from a UK Honda Dealer?
AFAIK only the odd one came with a fire extinguisher and they are exactly the same........but I had a replacement wheel on my EU import after a tyre fitter gouged the alloy while repairing a puncture a few months ago and the replacement UK sourced alloy had slightly more lacqeur on it. This is only very slight and seems to be behind the spokes as well, preventing dirt from getting ingrained there.

Was it just the replacement wheel or do all U.K. cars have this extra lacqeur, I don't know you'd have to get an 02 import and 02 U.K. sourced car together.
