Default Differential Problems?

guys/gals, I've done a search but haven't found anything relevant

Has anyone had a diff replaced under warranty and if so why? Can anyone tell me the symptoms of a 'dodgy' differential?

Zero, I had one on my old 00, basically when I was at a T jct turning say right There would be a whine and the right rear would judder a bit and loose traction, the dealer put on a new diff and the whine went but the characteristics stayed. My 03 does it as well and I think that it is just what LSDs do. Im no Patrick Head though. I cant remember any other cars doing this and it makes me want to be easy on the throttle when pulling out of a T jct as it feels mechanically painful.

Frisky has had a couple of diffs go. Try PMing him.

Mine does make a slightly dodgy noise when at full lock pulling out of junctions. Will get Honda to have a look when the clutch gets replaced. I'm happy to accept it's the noise they make at full lock but if not best get it checked out in case it's not normal.
