My s2000 has done 4000 mile more than the recomended 27k and the oil is 2 years older than the recomended 24 months, it is its second diff change and there were some fine shavings about half the size of a grain of sand, all is ok but just wanted to know what's the longest time anyone has left theirs for. I had one of the very first s2 when I was 21 and hammered it to death every day and it never had a diff oil change I didn't know it had a diff, I actually got it serviced every 9k and never once did the diff or gearbox oil, sold it with 145 on clock.

US differential oil change interval is 30,000 miles in normal service and 15,000 in "severe." Takes a little less than a quart. I do it every other oil change which puts it in the 10K - 12K range. Gearbox can go much longer. Many of us change it when the shifting seems sluggish.
