i'm going to be using redline 75w90 in mine now as recomended by the peeps on here, demon tweeks stock it and do international mail order if needs be

WTF is dual pump oil then (no links to explicit websites please!)?
Then again, the C&Ps in the CofE's transfer box & diff probably just add drag, most of the time. The FWD bit will use Honda MTF/sump oil.
But what about the Leg Ends?

Since Honda are shy of releasing the formula and given the economist statement of the bleedin' obvious, we must conclude they have produced a fluid which is similar to ATF to deal with the viscous coupling's stresses and the rather different shearing action of the hypoid bevel.
But I am now out of my depth, so if an oil specialist can please inform us how that is incompatible with a trad hypoid diff like the S2000's...

I'm amazed they are getting away with it. A hypoid diff needs oil that can resist high shear loadings and using the wrong sort of oil will lead to damage or failure (I'm not sure over what period of time but I'm guessing it won't take very long - maybe only a few miles).
