Diff oil
Right, maybe im being stupid (as I have asked this before) but im just making sure.....
I have a bottle of this left over from my last diff oil change (done by Jorge at crown)
REDLINE Synthetic Gear Oil 75W-90 GL5 -1 x US Quart (0.946L)
SKU: REDSYNGO75W90-1
Im presuming the fact that I had 2 bottles last year and he gave 1 back means only 1 bottle is needed for a diff oil change?
Also, just making sure this is the correct grade for the diff?

That is GL5 equivalent as listed so should be fine in the axle, infact only a regualr cheap #90 weight diff oil is spec'd.
You could use a bottle of Castrol for example.
That Redline multigrade will be okay, but its aimed more as a gearbox oil I think?
You will need just under a Litre.
You doing some BIG miles then mate?
Steve.

Not doing big miles no but this is my second engine. The car itself has done 125k.
Now youve got me thinking, is it really worth me getting the diff oil changed when it was done last service?

Unless you have caned it on track a few times, then I would.
Otherwise no point, its not a slipper diff in the true sense.
A lot of newer cars are even sealed for life now and never get changed - box or diff.
