Mods - Please can you modify my title as it's causing concern to other members. Please change it to:

"I did the stig, on crack, in my S2000"

It has just come to me that he was taking your thread title as if it had a question mark at the end:
Doh! I see now what it's meant to mean. I thought it was a "Look at me! I am the Stig!" thread. Whereas the real Stig wouldn't be seen dead using the 10-2 driving position.

I reckon your lap is about 1:46 with two up, which I think is pretty acceptable.
Yep that sounds about right. I was pretty dissapointed with it, but apparently I wasn't relaxing enough which I agreed. Hey ho - will do it again in something else now that i've had a bit more track experience.

Didn't know you could drive the Top Gear track. Wouldn't mind a crack at this at some point. Anyone know where you book this?

I'm planning on doing it, and I will be disappointed if I don't at least match the Stig's time if it's dry (the stig's time is wet). In the wet I drive like Paper Lawyer.

One client had just bought a sports car. He had previously owned a front wheel drive hatchback and was concerned about the differences in handling, and didnt want to discover this on the public road. We were able to aallow him to explore the limits in a safe, controlled environment. This enabled him to take full advantage of his new purchase.

That is the exact reason i am looking at doing an airfield day... and with this Plans one it also means i would get to drive the Top Gear track too. im very interested. + the fact this plans one is purely 1-2-1 where as the others i have looked it dont seem to be.

To be honest, you can learn most of the theory from a book and pracice on your own on a trackday.

It's practice that maketh the master.
