Exactly, some good old Bridgestone Potenza... on that note need to buy some front ones.

Oulton Park... great track! Have you been?
This is a video of me racing there, not my best race ever... And not with our loved S2000 though.

This Saturday will be in Bedford, although with a friend in his car...
Nurburgring definitely will be part of my yearly calender! Have my 8.50 to beat.

Cheers!

I see you are in the Mazda series. Looks great fun and I like the idea of a more 1 make series. It does look a little too full contact than normal racing though

The series is very competitive and you are right there is a bit too much contact, but we say we are inspired by BTCC!
My racing did actually improve considerably in 2012 (my second year) with regards to contact... And results too as I had a better car.

That's me done for this year. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on when they release the Destination Nurburgring dates for 2013. I know they normally have a spring date but the last 2 years it's been the VLN layout and that doesnt really appeal to me.

Has to be the nordschleife only

It was my 8th lap ever and I the time although good has potential for at least 10-15s better. Next year!
Fantastic driving

You'd be surprised how much time you lost there, I'd say you could knock off another 30s or so if everything came together. You were badly held up and you can push a bit more in a few places. Fantastic driving though. If I can match that on my next trip in the S2k I'll be chuffed!

That lap you did of the ring was total bravery! (but you are a fully fledged racing driver yes?) I won't get near that time. I'll be happy with a sub 10 mins (on 16s with T1 Rs). To be honest I just love driving it at 75%. It is such a special place. I'm looking forward to trying one of these dedicated track days next year but maybe with the new F1 circuit as well for the full distance appeal. I did 20 laps on TF there last October (+ Spa trackday) when they had the big pile up with the ring taxi. It was a bit manic but I love the circuit. Not bothered about going back to Spa really after the ring as it felt like "just another trackday" (riding the curbs in FWD type R was ace though as they are so low).

Re Oulton yes done literally thousands of laps round there in our ATR as it's my local track. Love the place but I've kind of done it to death now I think. Still keep going back though

Back to your Ring/Spa video it was great watching you playing cat and mouse with the Porsche. Proper David and Goliath stuff. Love it!

Oh and that lady in your Ring video has to be the most trusting women or you slipped her a full bottle of bravery pills as I'd of been s****ing bricks if I'd been in her seat

Tailhappy, you did make me laugh with that post. Both myself and the brave lady on the passenger seat!
She didn't manage the second session in spa... sick and scared were the words...

Fuly fledged racing driver... I wish! Struggling to get sponsors to go for my 3rd season ever in motorsport.
On my youtube channel and facebook page you will find loads of videos of my races...

Thanks all of you for the nice comments!

Stunning driving.

If your S2000 is stock (apart for brakes) I almost feel sorry for all the aftermarket suppliers, who are trying to make a living selling S2000 enhancements (ex DMS of course who supply brakes you use).

Hope you now become a regular contributor to forum.

Thanks for the comment.
It is actually rewarding to read the comments I have seen on this forum.

With regards to the tuning, the brakes do help! A lot! and the dixcel ones I have are way better then previous I had.
And I have actually seen a video of fully DMS prepared car and I was jeaulous of that handling... it looked so stable...
