I have heard that if you pour a bag of sugar into your tank it will save you a fortune in petrol

Is this true?
Is brown or white better?

What a load of tosh!

Spam them with daft questions!!

"If you get the magnets the wrong way round will it reduce the performance?"

Here's what I'd do with this product!

what a load of nonsense.
Where do you start, apart from the fact organic oils are not influenced by magnetism,a feature exploited in magnetic resonance imaging, generally only those containing water are (in an organic context)- which I admit would be beneficial to seperate out of your fuel - but you'd probably be better not adding water to your tank!

What fools would really spend their money on this?

Its common sense if you think about it, car manufacturers spend billions trying to improve performance and ecconomy so for them to miss this little trick of a

Don't forget the placebo effect.......

There was/is a product called Broquet.

Apparently sticking some pellets in your fuel tank allowed you to use unleaded fuel in your old car without causing valve seat recession

Hundreds of thousands of drivers swore it worked

The fact is that a huge number of these drivers were retired and drove about 3,000 miles a year at 30mph

In other words, ideal for minimising valve seat recession and you would probably have given up driving or died before problems showed up

Remember watching an episode of a prog called Mythbusters for some reason where they confirm or bust myths and fuel economy/purifiers was one of them.

I used to know someone who swore blind that his magnets were making a difference.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not a lot of iron in petrol.
