Find another dealer, there must be plenty down that way. I have had a few too many occasions to have a courtesy car from my local dealer, every time it has been free and keep as long as is convienient - i.e if I am going away for a long weekend, no need to drop the courtesy car off before if mine is ready early.

They're taking a liberty.

Avondale Honda Coventry - I reckon pretty much everyone else on here gets the same service... might be worth waiting for a couple more replies... I'd offer to take my business elsewhere - actually I wouldn't offer, I just would.

They relented!! The position they took initially was that if i had bought the car from them, then i would automatically get a free courtesy car!! So what? I pointed out that the car was bought from them by the original owner a year ago. I then asked, "What if i were considering buying 2004 model from you? (which i am)!! I was put on hold then told the fee would be waivered!!

Great, but does it have to be this difficult? I'm not a believer in remorslessly seeking freebies, since there's more to life than that. However i don't like to think someone's taking blantant advantage of me.

I just hope things are a little smoother tomorrow!!
