Not about parts but I have had various complaints from family members about spam emails after using Tegiwa website

Other half set up a new email and the bought from them and within minutes loads of spam emails.

Makes me not want to ask for stuff from them

Anyone used the honda garage in sheffield (millhouses), so far conversations with their service dept on the phone were promising but going in for service tomorrow....

Further to my previous post just wanted to provide feedback on my experience with the Sheffield Honda garage (Chesterfield Road). S2k went in for its service (my first since buying and was £155 for the "small service"). I had also provided a short list if things for them to look at that I had noticed since buying. The service manager was very obliging and about 90mins after dropping off I got a text with a link to a video of the cars health check and a call going though what would be needed. They had already run down my list and sorted all the issues out (for example rattle from driver side rear quarter and bolts missing on the cat heat cover which was causing a buzz at about 4k revs). Also got an update on works needed (new rear brakes and brake fluid change). Cost for this was a bit on the high side (fixed price of £165) but wanted to get it sorted without going into another garage as going on a Scottish Road trip at the end of April and wanted it done before that. Also as a main dealer the price was sort of expected.

Came to pick up at the end of the day and was surprised to see that the little bits of work they did was all done at nil cost and a full in and out valet done too! Was also offered free AA 5* cover (annoying that I didn't know about this a couple weeks ago because had just added breakdown to my insurance)!

All in all very good service and the free tin of local sweets went down well with the Mrs!

Sounds like exceptional service!

Maybe the service manager was a secret fan of S2000's

Or maybe, and hopefully, valued your business and wants your repeat custom.

Yes I would certainly head back but might also get a few quotes from reputable other garages in Sheffield.

In terms of resale value in the longer term I plan on keeping the Honda service history going but can anyone confirm whether getting other work done by Honda rather than local garages help retain resale prices?

Am having a lot of fun and smiles driving now so certainly don't intend to sell (unless a possible upgrade)!
