Dealer has Fu*ked up my car
Hi Guys,
I have just taken delivery of an 06 S2k (Berlina black).
I have had it one week and after this week have cleaned it for the first time. Whilst wiping down the car dry, I have found 3 areas that have ruined the paintwork.
There are three minor scratches that have been T-cutted by the dealer, in an attempt to mask the scratch. Its left a patch of very matt paint that sticks out against the gloss of the normal paintwork.
I am so annoyed that the people at the dealer can be stupid enough to T-cut a brand new car and effectively ruin the paintwork.
What the hell should I do?! Surely they have to fix the problem?

Yup sounds about right, they haven't a clue. Fortunately it should only be the clearcoat. Rather than get them to screw it up more, take it to a decent body shop and see if they can buff it out with a rotary. Oh and send the bill to Honda.

Take it back and insist it's done properly - that's what warranties are for!
If you don't get satisfaction take it to another dealer, and notify Honda UK.

Taking it back is fine if you are happy to wait for another and all the bull in between, getting them to repair the damage is no chance as they have demonstrated with the T-Cut method. I would suggest you negotiate a proper concourse done on your car by your choice and they foot the bill. Else if you can wait, get the car replaced. Any new car should be concourse properly to start anyway due to over spray, etc.
