1) Pick a warm day, or warm the badge/panel with a hairdryer
2) Use dental floss to remove the badge
3) Get a flat cotton pad (not the ball variety), fold it in half and soak it with nail polish remover (yes I as a tad concerned at using this but having tried other ways I think it is the easiest, and hasn't affected the paintwork).
4) Place it on the glue that was left on the paintwork, and lightly press it so it sticks. The cotton pad should not 'drip' remover, and need not touch the paintwork.
5) Leave for 3-4 mins then take it off and gently rub the glue off. It should come off really easily, if not leave cotton pad for a bit longer.
6) Wash & polish as usual!

Others have used different liquids, but only LB could use nail polish remover which is, I seem to recall, Acetone. Otherwise it is very easy. Just take care not to scratch anything and tools with points and/or edges are a definite
Dental floss is good for sawing the glue stuff off, but I just pulled with my nails - which are not as elegant as LBs.
