DBW, Returnless Fuel System
Evening,
Supercharging my S2000 within the next month or so.
Just doing a few changes to the car prior to make it easer when I come to fit the kit. I noticed while under the bonnet today that DBW uk s2000's have returnless fuel systems, where as I believe the pre DBW cars use the usual return type with a FPR...(I already knew DBW US cars had returnless systems but thought our could of been return-type with ours being F20c's....before i checked)...
Anyway are the fuel pumps the same for both types? ie if i just go for the usual walbro 255lph pump will i have to mess about with it to get it to work or is it just your run of the mill fit?
Cheers.

No idea about the DBW s2000's i dont have one - lucky for you having flashpro option a returnless should have no pressure regulator on the fuel supply rail and no return line back to the tank. I guess you will see if the regulator is in the fuel tank and part of the fuel pump?.
Pretty sure the fuel pumps are the same though, you need to get the high pressure specific one for the s2000 (there is a model number a search may help) as there could be an issue with connectors and size if not.
Fitting isn't too difficult and you wont need to mess about with it too much, you will need to take out the old fuel pump and trim the old pipe or new pipe (if you get one). It looks just about stock with the walbro fitted, the only PITA is the hose clamps and lack of space.
I did the whole job in 3 hours taking my time.
Be careful you dont lose the item in the second pics

Irvatron, how did you get that plastic tray above the fuel pump out? Is it a case of getting all the white plastic clips out and those two bolts at the back? Cant really see where else it could be held in.
Edit: Fuel pump now installed
Thanks
