What's a pcbs (We need pictures).

Oh yes, I'd have one of them.
Had a custom made bracket for the Alfa which was just perfect.

Will they be ready for the GB? Should I add them yet?

While it's possible (and a good idea) to use some flex ribbon behind the bracket to provide power and some other connections, there are a few complications.

First, it has to run somewhere to connect to a power source and that might require pulling the whole bezel off, which is a good bit of work, perhaps beyond the average user's capabilities. The second problem I see is the issue of connectors for the device. There are so many devices with custom connectors that it's not practical for a low-production business like me to try and provide a wiring harness for every phone/PDA/GPS/MP3 on the market. Or even provide a harness for the most popular ones because I'll end up paying retail for the quantities I'm going to by buying.

Now, it might be possible to provide a generic "wiring point" on the back of the bracket with either tiny screw terminals or solder pads so a technically proficient user could chop his iCrap Docking Cable in half, connect it to the terminals, and eliminate the cable snaking across the dash.

I think I'll look into that too and see what I can find. Solder pads would be smaller and make for a cleaner installation but screw terminals allow for easier connect/disconnect. Hmmm.

.

Modifry did those audio joystick conversion kits I seem to remember? A really cool upgrade. Or am I confused with another seller?

And there is also a HUGE modifry GB on at the moment
Despite that, I've received 2 orders in the last 3 days from customers in the UK. Evidently there are some S2000 owners that don't hang out here?

Confused.

That was DJQube but I don't think he's making them anymore. At least I've not seen or heard from him in a while. My guess is it was too much manual work or not enough people bought them. But yea, a very cool idea.

That's him! DJ....

yes, very cool, but a little complex. Shame Honda didn`t pick up on it and fit the idea.

Slighty off topic, but does anyone know how to remove that bezel that surrounds the dials and heater/stereo controls?

OK, what the heck is going on?

I just got ANOTHER order from the UK, this time for a camera mount. I'm thinking of sending an email to the buyer and pointing them to the GB thread.

Remove plastic housing around the steering column
Loosen steering column bolts and drop column down for clearance
Remove plastic plugs under speedometer cowl & remove screws (I thnk those are the only screws)
Pry, carefully, the bezel away from the dash.
Insert long skinny fingers behind bezel to unplug a million wires
Pull bezel away from dash

The radio and heater controls come off with the bezel.
