On my MY02 facelift model (i.e. glass rear screen) there are two lights.

1. At the bottom RHS, near SEL, is a small white light shining both ways when the lights are on!

2. Near the figure 8 on the rev dial is a blue headlight sign to indicate that main beam is on!

I have one of the original badboy widowmaker death traps and mine certainly has a little green light icon (in the right bottom of the display IIRC) that shows when you have your lights on.

Is yours a JDM import by any chance ?
I only ask as it may be different on non UK models.

Mine is not a JDM model It is an 02 on a 51 plate, it has the glass rear screen
