Cusco Front Brace Upper
Just installed my cusco upper brace. Been out for a drive and it feel great. Only slight concern I have is that the plates which sit on top of the suspension don't seem to be completely flush. Is this normal?
Also, since I got this second hand does anyone know how tight the bolts should be that attach the brace to the plates, i.e. the 8mm allen key bolts.
I used 49nm for the bolts which hold it to the car.

I may have to look into this. Because it doesn't seem right to me and it looks like, though I doubt it's the case, as if the plates are being bent by the nuts which can't be a good thing. Perhaps some washers may help, I'll have to have a play tomorrow.

Any washers underneath yours? I've taken it off again and had a look and the plates are bent, both of them. I don't know if I've done that or they were like that already. I need to find a way to get them flat again now.

I'd try and shape the plates so they match the top of the towers and dont just sit on the bolts, wouldn't put washers underneath it because then it'll act more like a hinge rather than a fixed point
