Default Cusco ARB

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but Im after buying a set of stiffer anti sway bars,Leon at Co-ord sport thinks the AP1 and AP2 are different but doesnt know why.I havent got a problem with that(he,s just being cautious)The only time I seem to get a proper answer is when somebody is trying to sell me something. My question is...is there anybody fitted Cusco ARBs to there AP2 without any problems? If so is there any chance you could give me the part number,so that I can be sure?
Thanks in advance.

AP2's weren't released in this country, all UK spec cars have an AP1 chassis.

the earlier cars had siffer ARB's and gradually got softer to around 2007, i believe they stiffenend them up a little again after 07. mines an 07 and has cusco ARB's. I think cusco only make one front and one rear model of ARB for the s2000. http://www.vtecdirect.com/online/cgi-bin/c...AP1_Chassis_arb
Those Cusco ones are the ones I have. I have a brand new rear cusco ARB if you want it, then you just need to get a front.

Dixon Motorsports just posted this in another thread which may be of some interest to you. He really knows his onions...

Chassis plate still the same but the late UK AP1 have AP2 front lower arm, rear upper arm, rear subframe and chassis. So when you order parts from breakers is good to let them know if you want AP1 or AP2 parts as AP2 rear upper arm won't fit to AP1.

Except a UK breaker won't have any AP2 parts as all their parts will come from an AP1. Some of those AP1s will be MY04+ and have the different wishbones.

I didn't think there was any difference in the fitment of the ARBs across the years, even though the bars themselves may have changed.

They'll fit no problem.

Mugen888 has a set for sale that cost 25% less than new, so worth a pm. I paid a lot less for mine, but they're not in as good cosmetic condition as Mugen's.

Excellent mod (front and back)

Cosmetic condition is essential for anti-roll bars.
