.... no. not of the sexual exploration nature - before anyone tries to set me up with lloyd , but of the mobile speed cams...

i've never seen one, maybe for this reason but if there is one of those mobile speed camera vans sat at the side of the road, at night would dipped/main beam cause over-exposure of their camera and render the photo un-readable?

I don't think they use these at night, but in the day they do use them on the A46 into Coventry quite often so keep your eyes open!

They don't/cant use the vans at night or in poor weather conditions.

I would think Specs cameras etc would still getcha.

Anyone got a camcorder with a low light setting?
You should still be able to read the reggie even with the headlights on...

They caught me at night with a speed camera, so it's doable. Don't know whether they set them at night in the UK though.

Static cameras work at night, but they don't put mobile ones out. Dunno if theoretically they would work or not

Personally i wouldnt take the chance, i got had with the plod hanging out of his window like dirty harry..... i hear Road Angel are quite good!!

Sorry, I was referring to a mobile camera. They do work at night.
