if i give it a bit of welly off the mark in 1st, when i change up to 2nd its started to crunch, it doesn't happen everytime nor does it happen in normal driving. I was out on some private land that a friend owns and we were timing the 0-60 time and nearly every time i was in 1st and redlined it, i'd change up and had probs getting into 2nd....any thoughts.....

try changing the transmission fluid - worked for me.

And make sure when you are doing a quick gear change that you are not lifting off the clutch too soon!!!

Keep your fingers crossed its not a worn syncro ,if thats the case its going to be a new gearbox

Mine has done this a few times in the last week, even though i was certain the clutch was down to the floor. Warranty here I come!

Mine is horrible when cold. 2nd is a pain in the arse, and I literally need to coast with my foot on the clutch for 2 or 3 secs sometimes for 2nd to engage. And when changing down, I usually need to stop if I want back into 1st. Once warm it's fine though.

My last car was the same though and I owned it from new.

I'm gonna change the trans oil and see how it goes otherwise i'll be callin up mr warranty....

I get this in 2nd and 4th as well. I've noticed in the last 4 weeks or so.

Hopefully not the syncro mesh. I can feel a warranty trip coming on to Southern Counties.
