Honda should do the alignment only if they have the 4-wheel setup, some dealers do, some don't. IIRC they charge just less that

Limiter is 9k AFAIK I hit it this morning but was too busy watching were I was going to check the figure

Nope, the limiter is slighter lower than 9K (8900 or about there) - I recall Brian posting about it.

Good point - a few engines have gone that way and been void on warranty because of over reving!

Most dealers struggle with this if you are in the London/Surrey area your best bet is Southern Counties in Crawley, the KNOW the S2000. Their geo settings are very similar to the Honda UK Optimum settings if you know what I mean!
