After waiting for 3 weeks for my Honda as my private plate transfer was taking so long I took the normal plate and Honda said they would put my personal plate on retention !!! After waiting for 5 weeks I keep calling them , no one comes back to me so I called dvla after seeing my old car cruising around with my personal plate on !!! Apparently its still on there so I am waiting to see what Honda have to say as I want my plate back and they better get it or something very nasty may happen to the salesman!!!

Yes i will do it but they said they were doing it!!!! this guy is driving around with my old which still has my name on it !!!! anyway honda are gonna get the log book back so i can put the plate on retention!!

Exactly the same happened to a friend with his Z4!

He called his local dealer all the ****s under the sun, but it turned out that it is also the DVLA's fault. They are really crap at the moment (as is everything ultimately gov't controlled!) and have an eight week backlog.

I have had independent confirmation via a source that must remain nameless that the DVLA are especially crap at present, possibly due to IT upgrades being rushed into.

Funny, when I was looking to buy my S, this branch had the most helpfull salesman.

Yes they are helpful unto they get your money !!!! Mine has a massive stone chip at the front and dent in the rear!! Seeing it was meant to be valeted and supagaurded I would have thought they may have spotted it!!! Also one of the wheels has fingers prints in black all over it and has then been coated in some transparent treatment so I cant get the marks out!!! Any way its going back to have all this fixed!! aslo I am still waiting for my private plate that was on my px car which they have sold already so they are in the process of getting that back. As its a hard to I got no stand which I should have so I will be mentioning that too when I take it in !!!
