Now VTEC in 1st, don't stop till it is 8999 rpm change into second.... repeat VTEC..... into third.

Notice that revs are always at 6K VTEC zone.. after the change

The trick is when you drive spiritedly not to let the revs fall below 6K or you are back to Dr Jekyll mode.

Spent a lifetime faffing about tuning cars, changing to fancy exhausts and wheels, DIY messing with suspension lowering etc , all sorts of intake mods etc etc etc.
but it was not until I had the geo. done on the Honda did I realise what a waste of time & money can be spent merely for pose and effect.

The car was transformed, it felt smoother 'cos it didn't bounce all over the place and thus was able to drive quicker, and sticks to the road like glue even on roundabouts - in fact I hardly ever need to slow down for corners.
Honda should be ashamed they come out of the factory in such a state.

BUT bang it into second & floor the loud pedal on a slippery road, come bend or no bend you will still be in the s...t.

1) NO

2) Difficult to diagnose what that noise is.

But S2000's are quite noisy in the gearbox/ clutch department, more so under deceleration rather than acceleration.

If it isn't a particularly loud noise I wouldn't worry

Mine does it a bit too. Not checked it out yet, but it could be a diff problem. Or maybe a bearing issue. Or it could be nothing! Burying my head in the sand at the moment.
