It shouldn't affect your premium, as the car insurance company will have backed off the windscreen insurance to the windscreen company, and that comes at a flat rate which doesn't look at driver history.

Make sure they fit the rear view mirror properly, mine was very loose and then dropped off shortly after the guy left. Had to take it to the dealer to fix.

Don't use National Windscreens.
They;
Smashed the windscreen taking it out,
Cut themselves and bled on the gear knob and passenger seat,
Left broken and powdered glass all over the cabin,
Scratched the surrounding paintwork,
and finally - the screen cracked again (stress fracture) within a week of it being fitted.
Unfortunately, it's a company car and the lease company couldn't give a f**k, so I'm going to have to use them again (another crack).

Yup, I had mine done with RAC last week. They wouldn't come out as it was "too difficult" so I had to take it in to their workshop place.
They replaced the rubber trim by default.
They also stuffed up the rear view mirror, which now vibrates and wobbles about all over the place. Need to get back in touch with them I guess.

Yup, in fairness I found out the mirror was knackered about 30secs into my drive home last Friday, but after waiting in their freezing cold reception for 2.5hours I cba to go back in then. Keep meaning to call them about it..
We had a bit of a problem in that the Norwich branch messed up with the order of the glass, and it was easier to use a different branch that was closer - they didn't want to do it onsite, probably due to the fact it was cold and drizzly!
