How about going for vinyl instead - if you aren't bothered about something permanent. Not that I've thought about that

Come on folks, this is Mikey we're talking about. It's obvious.

Buy another car in required colour, swap the bonnets, sell extraneous motor

It's obvious he's getting a white S and painting the bonnet black in honour of the toon.

Thanks for your support of Newcastle United, Mikey, we need it at the moment.

Don't know about the colour mix but I'd say from his questions he IS planning a different-coloured bonnet.

WHY is another matter...but this is Mikey after all!!!

Ahh , he'll need the bonnet sprayed and repaired when his pistons smash through it on a banzai lap at Anglesey

now to find a spare engine!

I having been toying with the idea of a vented bonnet to help the SC breathe and lose some of the heat.
PJL has cut the OEM hood as have a few US guys.
I was trying work out if it would be cheaper to buy a used OEM bonnet, cut that and then spray it. Or buy a plain carbon one and just cut that with out spraying it.

Decided on the OEM hod route, too many issues with CF fit and cutting CF cleanly.
Sorted a an OEM used one, it's black so it will need spraying Moonrock!

The effect I'm going for!
Just not sure which combination yet
