cooling plate cover

Thumbs down cooling plate cover

i have put carbon cooling plate on about may, i have noticed yesterday there is a plasic cover there should i have take it off before i put the carbon plate cover on , because i am getting hot air in too the filtter am i blocking the air flow ?, i use hks kit i have noticed i have cold air feed from the inside bay headlamp drivers side only , do i remove the oem plasic cover or not . the car was hesitating when i took off from the traffic lights i have had code read no cells

I had to take the plastic bit (can't remember the correct name) off before I fitted my CF rad plate. I think this was to do with my Spoon Snorkel more than the plate though.

Hello,

You either leave your OEM plastic cover in front or the carbon plate. Both are doing the same job. Your carbon plate is just useless having kept the OEM plastic air guide

My bumper was off, which IIRC helped a bit.
