Convertible cover ('tonneau')
I've followed the handbook/done the searches/looked in FAQS. But I still can't get the cover to stay in place at the back where two shallow clips are meant to fit under the rubber moulding. It's all new so wear can't be the problem.
It fits OK to start but when I get where I'm going, the turbulence or vibration or whatever has popped the cover/clips out at the back, leaving a gap.
A pity because, in place, it looks neat and is good for keeping the mechanism clear of dirt and debris when the soft-top is down. Suggestions appreciated - apart from giving up on the thing.

For a company that loves to trumpet it's image of quality, design and engineering expertise and 'race-bred' influences Honda made a right amateur cock-up when it came to a protective cover for the hood.
Even humble Mazda got it right with a neat fabric foldable cover that took up little boot space when folded and is a doddle to fit.
OK the S2000 design is 7 years old and nowmost of the modern day competition have designed a roof that folds so neatly a cover is not required, see BMWZ4 etc.
Honda's effort using what seems like cardboard is so huge it takes up most of the boot space so no wonder most members never use it. Despite claims by others I have been unable to manoeuvre it into the hood well when the hood is erect.
Providing I don't need the boot space should the weather turn wet, I do fit it as often as possible because I too like the neatness.
Yes as the cover gets used and moulds into shape the plastic tabs will eventually clip beneath the moulding, but even if they don't I have not experienced the cover moving or billowing up.
Certainly the more you use it the easier it is to install.
A 'tonneau cover' is one that covers the entire cockpit and can be zipped open for the driver only. Think pre-war BRG Morgans, leather bonnet straps, boot racks, goggles and string-backed gloves.
