....I do actually drive my car and am taking the Stook on a fairly long (circa 3-400 mile) run this weekend.
I've checked the tyre pressures, the oil level and will check the fluids later and she's clean and spanky shiny.
Is there anything i've forgotten before I leave?

I take it this is for your French trip Dawn? have you got all the legal paraphernalia you must have to avoid a hefty fine at the side of the auto route?
have you checked/inflated the spare? or are you taking a puncture repair system with you?

Hardy har chaps!
Yep, Heston it's the France trip.
Right, paperwork-wise, I have my insurance documents (and have informed the insurers of my intention to drive in France, I have my licence and have taken a copy in case i'm pulled. I've got all the Honda EU break down cover documentation.
The spare wheel is out but i've got some tyre foam stuff for emergencies.
I know you need the kit inc triangle, high vis jacket etc but understand it can be bought prior to crossing the channel.
Have I forgotten anything?

Headlight deflectors for the continent, I would suggest you have the hi-vis vest in the cabin (as it’s the LAW!) and have the correct number for the people in it
The last thing I would do is buy all the stuff you need from within 100 mile radius of the Channel...as they will see you coming, and rip you offfffff
Get down to Halfrauds, they do pretty decent packs
So you have your insurance 'green' card with your docs also? THB I would take all the originals, as the French fuzz can get all medieval if they think it’s a forgery!
