@Nicklincs, I would prefer not to say how much I am paying insurance wise for my S, as it makes my eyes water! However, you can make an educated guess, if I say my insurace is not far off the price I paid for my S, and my S is a 2004, with 62k miles on it when I bought it, then you may have an idea.

Haha, I've had my S since November, which means that I made it though winter fine! I drive like a granny because I know I won't be able to afford the increase in insurance if I get done for speeding! (Or if I have an accident)

Oh, I forgot to say that it is my own policy as well, if I was on someone elses policy then I wouldn't be earning any ncb's, which I'm not keen on. I prefer earning them so at some point my insurance will go down Hopefully it should half by November.

Oh and when i cancelled with Adrian Flux they tried to make me stay by offering the policy for £600 even though i told them i got it for £450.

Then the day after they rang and said they could do it for £550 - so again i told them that at £550 its still £100 more!!!
