Default CONDENSATION IN HEADLIGHT

Trying to get my car through the MOT and its failed on condensation in the headlight. Any known solutions out there. Thought of drilling a couple of small holes top and bottom and using a hair drier???

Just by typing in CONDENSATION in the search box at the top.... A plethora of answers how to fix came up on my screen.

( Not being a smart arse.... but it's the quickest way for you to see all the solutions. )

Have a look at the Mikey K post

someone has tried leaving the bulb on a hot radiator over night and that manage to get rid of the condensation.

another member used the hot oven method, also worked.

Easy. stick your arm under the wing from inside the bonnet and take out the rubber seal behind the headlight. It will clear overnight. Worked on both my lights with no side effects.

As per S2000tim, remove the rubber seal from behind the light and leave it out. I done mine over a year ago with no problems. (I'd previously tried removing the headlamp re-sealing it and refitting but to no avail).

Can someone tell me how to get my hand in there? There's no room to squeeze in from inside the bonnet, unless I'm missing a trick.

Are you serious? Presumably I have to remove the coolant bottle first then?
