Condensation

I found another leak in the boot that would contribute to the steaming up.
It was around the petrol filler, allowing water to soak into the carpet on the left hand side.
Fingers crossed this'll alleviate some of my condensation woes!
I have also installed a boot drain, which takes the form of a 10mm drill bit.
Opening the window for the last few minutes of my journey does help though.

Can you elaborate? thanks.

I leave one of those in the car when it's not being used.
As for the fairy liquid idea, just lubricate your windows rubbers with shin-etsu or Halfords rubber lubricant, works amazing. BTW fairy liquid contains a lot of salt, not good for rubber.

How exactly did you sort the leak around the petrol filler?, where did it leak?
Can you elaborate? thanks.

The leak was predominantly around the bottom and sides...only took around 15 minutes to find the leak and repair it.
I still need to paint the silicone as I only had brown stuff to hand.
Let me know if you would like some photos.

There is a tiny gap around the filler cap assembly and the rear wing. I filled this with silicone sealant and smoothed it over with my fingers. I let it dry for 24 hours then used a knife to remove the excess.
