Condensation
I can't seem to shift the condensation from inside my plastic window unless the heater has been on for a few minutes. Within 10 minutes of leaving the car off, bang, the condensation appears.
I sorted out the leak in my boot last week, everything in there is now bone dry. The boot lid also has condensation forming on it very quickly when the temp drops.
All the drains have been cleared, and the rain rail works well.
Is it just the time of year? Or is there something else I need to look at?
I have looked at a great deal of similar posts but found nothing new.
Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like an air vent is still blocked! i would try leaving the window open just a small bit then look at it again after 10 mins again, if it is cleared you know to look for blocked vents! mind sometimes its near impossible to find!!

I get condensation too.
Best to let the inside cabin temp reach the same as outside so leave window down for a minute or two whilst you are about to finish your journey...it does help

Cheers gents. Where are these so called vents? I know of the one that leaked in the boot before I gave it the silicone treatment.

If you park up with a warm interior, the air inside the car cools down, contracts, and thus helps suck in moisture from outside. Try to equalise the temperature before you park up for the night. Won't necessarily stop it but should reduce the problem ...

depends exactly where the water has got to!
when my s was leaking, it was getting into the boot and cabin area, thus the passenger side carpet is a tad damp.
only fixed it a month or 2 ago, so condensation is showing alot - im just running the AC and waiting for summer to come along for pleanty of top-down 'excuses'

switch the air con on. it will work with the heater on hot and will dehumidify the interior a lot quicker than with the heater alone
A/C works very quickly.

Am suffering the same with mine, i'm only using the car once or twice a week at the moment so its always got condensation on. Someone told me a cure this week though so going to try it.. clean up the window and smear a small amount of fairy liquid (other brands of washing liquid are available!) over the window and it apparantly stops it misting up. Anyone else heard or tried this?
