Comptech all fitted
Along with the exhaust i also managed to fit my comptech CAI, really nice piece of kit, lots of bits to it, but the instructions once read a few times weren't too bad to understand and work out.
put it all back together and the engine seems fine. (i was worried i'd plug it all back together wrong when i took all the Vac lines off.
also repainted the lettering properly this time
had to move the horn box and the air valve, have relocated them to the chassis
next job is to powder coat the cam cover as mine is very dirty and flaking in one corner. if i try and clean it, the paint will probably come off.

cleaning up the engine bay is my next job, the last owners have touhed it since it was bought 8 years ago, so in need of a bit of TLC.
as for the cable ties, they were a necessity for now. i go tthe kit 2nd had and a couple of peices were missing. so these are temporary, when i get back into the workshop in a weeks time i'll make up some new brackets for the 2 parts. and re mount them.
for now it keeps the hoses out of the moving parts of the engine
