Can't find the ad, why are you selling it? How much and how loud is it?

Thanks LG, I think that's an AP1 so probably won't fit on mine?

All UK supplier cars are AP1s. AP2s have never been supplied to the UK.

I know but I thought that among UK users, it's common for the 1999-2003 cars to be referred to as AP1 and 2005-2009 cars to be referred to as AP2. Anyway that looks like it's from a 99-03 car so I don't think it will fit mine, I'm also not after a loud exhaust.

The AP1/2 police will be along shortly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_S...4.E2.80.932009

No idea whether it'll fit other than that I know people have fitted newer exhausts to older cars, and the hangers are slightly different.

Some people get very upset by others getting the AP1/2 thing wrong, I'm not that bothered but thought I'd give you a friendly advance warning!

Better still, book a course with these guys: http://www.carlimits.com/ where you can slide the car around on the safety of an airfield.
I know about the principles and reading them is all very well, but like you have suggested I don't think the road is the best place to be experimenting really, particularly because of the risk of hitting things or other road users. I have looked at the exact place you have recommended, I've also looked at doing a skid pan session at thruxton to get familiar with the car in an oversteer situation. I think I'd prefer the Andy Walsh day as I've heard a lot of good feedback about his tuition, but I'd really like to go there on a soaking wet day as that's where I'd like to improve my confidence rather than in the dry.
It's a great idea, wet or dry and very good fun. You are quite right about not experimenting on the road, there is far too much stuff/people to hit

There's no need to be afraid of track days either, especially those run on airfields where there aren't any barriers. These guys run excellent days and have good instructors on hand: http://motorsport-events.com/

Here's a video taken on a day at Abingdon by PaulF from his car. I am in the black car - you can see how much room there is. It also shows the benefits of improving the driver/practise, Paul's car makes 5bhp more than mine.

Paul has also uploaded some videos of Car Limits days, so have a look through and you'll get a better idea of what's involved.

Hi, I've been lurking here for a little while having just bought a 2003 Silverstone Grey S2000 GT as a daily driver. I saw the reference to Motorsport Events days at Abingdon and thought I'd join up and post a reply. For over ten years I've been regularly going to track days both with MSE at Abingdon and at other venues using variously my Westfield and my track-modified Z4M Coupe. I've seen a couple of S2000s at MSE days and I might even have some videos of you guys filmed from my Zed.

As a direct comparison, my S2000 seems to turn in far more precisely and without the understeer that my Zed had in stock form, although I've yet to take the S2000 on the track. I've modified every element of the Zed's suspension to combat the inherent understeer dialed in by BMW and now turn in is immediate and it corners completely flat. As pitch and roll are almost eliminated, it is also much more stable under hard braking and puts down power more predictably. The S54 engine makes over 80% of maximum torque at 2000 rpm and revs out at 8000 rpm so it's an absolute animal, but at 1500kg with me in it there is still much more inertia than with the S2000. The Westfield is 600kg including me (but only 160bhp) so on R888s it accelerates, corners and stops like nothing else. I'm expecting my S2000 to fall somewhere between my Westfield and a stock Z4M in terms of performance and handling.
