i went blue with mine aswell took mine off completley and cleaned them up and sprayed them with vht high temp blue that stuff is horrible to spray with thou if i did it again i would strip them down and send them off for powder coating

Gentleman, thank you for your suggestions, I think I am going for blue. I would love to be able to do the job myself. As I have already stated, I am technically more than capable to do the work and I have all the tools to do it but physically I am unable. If I was doing the job I would have removed the calipers from the car and stripped them down, refurbished them before painting them. The firm I intend to have do the work use a Teflon based paint, supposed to be betterthan powder coating, and guarantee the work for 4 years so I feel confident that the job will be done correctly.
The next question is do I go for a black or white H or Honda transfer on them?
But the hardest question is do I part with my Britool spanners, socket sets and torque wrenches?
I do appreciate your suggestions, you have all helped me come to a decision which is a great help as I used to be indecisive but now I am not so sure.
