White would be my choice.
I can't stand these comments about something being easier to sell when the time comes; you bought it to get use out of it, not to get your money back when you do sell up.
As long as it's a standard colour, there will always be someone who wants to buy one in that colour, eventually.

if you look at a lot of the photos from the americans cars, a lot of them have their surround black, and it looks pretty good in all colours, all of the time
