Car was definitely light on its feet all afternoon, both on A & B roads and the A34 and M4.
Dembo - it's no myth, the tyres really do need some heat
very stiff sidewall on the S02

Pressures were adjusted on....erm...Wednesday I think. Tuesday possibly. Can't remember when it was, but definitely last week and 32 all round.
and you have been trying to lose weight
that could have been a factor
the car has been used to carrying 20 stone
19.5 is a lot less in a strong wind

I've changed my front wheels for casters and just floor it every morning. - it's a miracle I get out of the drive. It's amazing how less cramped the interior is without a stearing wheel, too.
What are you guys doing to lose the back end so often? Did you tick the 'instant diarrhea button' in the options list? Or perhaps installed a pedal bin next to the accelerator?

Bear in mind that road temp is just as important as tyre temp. If the road is cold and damp then the back end is likely to twitch no matter how warm your tyres are.
The missus and I had a great blast this afternoon, on the local coast road. VTEC, fast corners, a good blast with a couple on a sports bike in tow (who gave us a big thumb up as I waved them past on a long straight and then dissapeared into the distance even though we were doing silly speeds).
Any way, the point is that the tryes were VERY warm and once we hit some road which had been shaded by the trees the car was very twitchy and the foot only went to the floor once we were in a straight line.

I tend to agree, although I hope not to be tempting fate !
Cold tyres do make a difference - I'm sure part the reason for my infamous spin at Rahula's track day was due to a cold day and cold tyres - certainly no ice. That plus lack of concentration by myself!

Also remember that the S02's get very hard and slippery when down to approx the last 3mm of tread. We all know the ledality of 1.6mm etc etc but a lot of owners with s02's on change at about 3mm because the driving feels changes quite dramatically.
