100%

Boxster has evolved. S2k is just a 10+ year old design that has been tweaked over the years

Price has evolved somewhat too - £50k for a properly specced Boxster S nowadays

Out of interest, and if you don't mind me asking, how long have you had your S2000, what MY is it and what tyres are you running?

I'm sure you will know this, but the S2000 Motoharu Kurosawa drove round the 'ring on BMI Vol 1. was a pre-production prototype with suspension and geo, along with other items, that were not the same as the final MY00 road car. FWIW I don't think comparing that car to yours is a valid comparison.

Toyo T1-Rs on 16" rims, MY00. Had my S2K less than a year (loving every drive in it)

Yes I saw the car was a pre production prototype so bears absolutely no resemblance to my car

So I must know nothing about RWD cars being that I have only had my S for such a short length of time?

You are a FWD freak Bawwie...
I might have to follow the grain seeing as though I sold my S, and move on to a Porker

No, not fishing about RWD

I was wondering if you'd ever driven the car in it's original spec, but your response to my questions indicates that you almost certainly haven't, since OEM S02s went out of production a long time before you got your car.

I bet you're running 225 wide squishy T1-Rs on the rear aswell?

Anyway back on topic anyone have experience with fortune auto coilovers ? Really tempted to try, rated highly by the usa guys. Want to try digressive valve coilys and see if it is as good as described

Aye they're the ones Great in the wet and good in the dry but with a nice ride quality for the road (as opposed to low pro feel every bump 17" alloys). I was shocked how much better the ride is on the 16" rim and how much more communicative the car feels on the smaller rims. Found the same with the Westfield we had. 13" rims perfect. 17" rims loads of grip then

Horses for courses I guess. But I like the handling on this setup. Never feel it doesn't want to go round a corner. Having the geo done makes the difference though. Loving the car Oversteer can be had but the car needs to be deliberately provoked to do it (wet or dry). A credit to that Centre of Gravity place as they did the work for the previous owner and it shows.

The MY00 S2k is pretty tame if you are smooth with the throttle and don't take the p***. Oh and keep at least 3-4 mm tread on the rears
