Hey.... I have them on my Golf GT TDi 130. Helps a fat car go round bends better... well that's what the last owner thought when he installed them I tell you what though, the wallowy chunky diesel Mk4 Golfs have such irritating body-roll, that lowering and stiffening up has genuinely improved the handing IMO. I once owned a tdi 130 4 years ago, and when you cornered in it you could scrape your knuckle on the tarmac with the window down (standard suspension, and pretty tired springs I can tell you!).
Some cars it improves for the road, some... well, its a question of handling taste for the owner
