if you go for a nitron what should you budget for?

is it necessary to sort other areas to. Roll bars etc.

if i was to changed i wouldnt be bother much by lowering, just handling gains. Mainly road use with ocassional track use
No coil over change can be made in isolation. ARBs make an important difference. The level of drop will dictate whether other mods (rear toe rods and steering rack spacers) are also required to ensure you can get the correct geo.

I wouldn't touch cheap shocks like KSport and D2s with a barge pole.

According to whom? The ksport website quotes spring rates of 728 lb and 392lb, front and rear. That is ludicrously bad.

I initially considering for ohlins and nitrons alone, but I think u need to consider the whole 'package' and I agree with paper lawyer, cant just change the coilovers alone, and to save a bit of time, I have decided to go the whole nine yards with Bilsteins PSS9,rear control arms, roll centre adjusters and front rack spacers and..the geo sorted all in one weekend with Chris, just need to plan ahead for the long drive up north in october

I'm actually going to disagree with PL on this one!
I have the two way Nitrons.
I ran just those on my 06 with a geo reset
On my current car they are accompanied by front anti bumper steer rack spacers and that is all. No problems.
I have a set of rear control arms that will go on at the next set of tyres/geo.
I'm considering a front adjustable ARB if I find I need it when I track the car in its current configuration.
IMHO for a road car and occassional use a decent set of coilovers is enough.

Nitrons are the way forward.

(There are other options if you are short of cash)

maybe..

but it's often really the law of diminishing return on investment..

and the retail price of the dampers won't reflect the actual engineering and materials used..

I would think the features and build quality that you need in the application might be a better consideration... then shop around to get the best price.

Hence why Bilstiens can be had cheaper than Nitrons
