it's not only springs but also shocks.
my Monoflex came with 12/10 springs (front/rear) and it definitely wasn't back braking.
after all i changed to 10/8 (mainly to avoid car launch at 100mph on big road bumps/dips) and it feels very comfortable.
shocks setting is ~4 from fully soft.

The weight balance ratio of our cars is 50/50, so having same springs front and rear would keep it balanced I guess..
harder rears = oversteer, softer rears = understeer.

no real full size tracks here but we do what we can

about the springs rates - this is how Monolflex comes by default in USA.
honestly - it feels to me that it's oriented towards non staggered setup (which i can't have due to local MOT regulations )
but somehow it doesn't feel understeery to me.
although i must say that my allingment is always oriented to a good turn in (max front camber, rear camber less than front, etc).

Well you could, if it is like the UK MOT, you put on the staggered setup with the decat and legal number plates for the MOT day and then get home and change it back to how it should be for the rest of the year!

My buddyclub Coilovers have 10kg fronts and 8kg rears. It feels nice- not harsh at all with damper setting mid.
My new Nitron r3 setups is going to be 12/14, if you can hang on a month or so ill tell you how I get on.
