That's only important if you value ride height over ride quality.
In the test that SCC did it was clearly the highest riding car but also one of the best riding.
It's never bothered me.

Garage-R's polybush deal is pretty good considering the amount of work that can go into getting the old ones off. Wishbones on exchange doesn't help with that.

Thats pretty much the logic i used gary, and i also couldnt justify spending £1000+ on coilovers...
Glad i didnt, i can adjust ride height independant of pre load on my 'cheap' Meister-R's...
Buy what you can afford and what makes sense to you mate, in these tougher economic times not everyone wants to spend a lot of money on parts!

Indeed dembo's right would of been worth having them checked first. Mines a 2003 and never been done as far as we could tell, yet only 1 bush of all of them was siezed, one of the big front lower caster ones.
If i want to fix mine, can you get a pair of polys for just that one point and change them, leaving the rest as is?

The likelihood of them all being seized is slim, but a 3 or 4 being seized is more likely IMO. Sometimes you can adjust around the seized ones but that entirely depends on the state of them and which ones.
Yes its a time consuming job , (DIY) it took me a long time to replace them, i think i ended up paying a 3rd of that price.
I think its a naive to assume they will all be seized without a check up, ideally you want none of them seized if its a track weapon (top ones are fluted IIRC).

True but while I have a chunk of cash available I may as well get it done. Everything else on the car is maintained by me so I know it's sound. Its been on my list of things to do for a while and getting it lowered slightly will mean geo. At least this way is peace of mind and once it's done and all the bolts are greased it means future messing with ride heights and stuff will be easier.
