Default Clutch replacement - Ramps or possible on axle stands?

Morning Gents.

It seems like after 120k miles (And the recent NOS kit addition), my clutch has finally started slipping.

Why do all the complicated jobs come around when the weather is shite?

For those of you who have replaced the clutch themselves, is it do-able on axle stands or is it a ramp job?

Failing that, working on the "I can't be arsed" principle, how much is labour to have one fitted while I work from home and sit in front of the telly in the warm?

I've read several DIY threads and there seems mixed opinion around the amount of time/hassle involved. If it was warm enough I'd be happy to do it myself (I've done a few clutch replacements in my time - Opel Manta, Capri etc - As you can guess, some years ago though.) but these days I really don't know if I can be arsed after reading all the issues about how hard it is to get to certain bolts etc.

While we're on the subject, any downsides to fitting a lighter flywheel at the same time on a daily driver?

I've done it on axle stands 3 times, it's a pig of a job but its do-able.
Will you be sticking an uprated clutch back in?

£2-300 fitting I'd guess.

EDIT: Tegiwa were doing a supply and fit for £581 https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/908...t__p__21704598

Tegiwa is only a few miles from me and in hindsight for the supply and fit cost I would let them do it next time

Well if it's only a couple of hundred to have it fitted, screw braving the rain.

Cheers chaps, will make some enquiries.

Any thoughts on light flywheels? Any real benefits?

When my clutch is up for renewing I'll definitely install a lighter flywheel, had one on my crx and I loved how revvy it made it.
