Default Clutch release bearing

I think my clutch release bearing is rattling a bit. When i take my foot off the clutch when the car is stationary i can hear a rattle, when i put my foot on the clutch it disappears...Is this anything to be concerned about? The cars only done 9.5k

Its an 05 model if that makes any difference..If theres a problem i'll phone Mr.Honda.

Yeh its only a very slight noise but im just concerned that it may get worse and worse, considering the mileage on the car is so low..Does this mean the clutch is shot?

no i think is ok just normal clutch noise , if you want peace of mind and your car is still under warranty get it checked by the dealers.

If its a whirr when the gearbox is in neutral and the clutch pedal not depressed then this is just the gearbox input shaft rotating.

The clutch release bearing isn't actually rotating with the gearbox in neutral and the clutch pedai not depressed. I had a smilar noise on my old MY00. The dealer diagnosed it as clutch release bearing so replaced the whole clutch assembly, including the bearing, under warranty. It made no difference to the noise what so ever.
