Clutch Problems
Since I've had my S, which is over a year now, I have noticed a rattle under deceleration. As I had never been in another S I thought this was normal.
Until, I had my car serviced by a different Honda dealer than where I had bought it. The technician asked me if I had noticed a rattle under decelaration and that this is due to the clutch springs wearing and would need to be replaced soon.
I have also read the FAQ's section which highlights this issue and mentions it being replaced under waranty by the 055 Clutch. The trouble is, that my warranty has ran out by two months. Does anyone know if I have a leg to stand on if I go back and complain to the Honda dealer? Or is it worth getting an extended warranty then leaving it a few months and then trying to get it replaced that way?
